Reading Tutor Service

Program Description: Westchester Public Library is proud to offer a program designed to assist your student with his/her academic reading. This program is designed to provide Pre-K through 12th grade students with a safe and welcoming learning  environment where our volunteer tutors work, one-on-one, with your child in 1/2 hour increments. Parent involvement will play a key role in student's success, therefore, there will be a 5 minute time set aside at the end of the sessions for parents to meet with the tutor to discuss what was worked on. Children 12 and under will require parental supervision during tutoring sessions. English reading assistance only is being offered, at this time.

A flyer about the program with more information can be found here.
